CLUB MEMBERSHIP

The membership of BLACKPOOL TRANSPORT ANGLING CLUB ends its financial year on December 31st.
Existing members have until the end of January to renew their membership before we open the doors to new members.

A lot of our new members ask for membership because of word of mouth, information from the tackle shops and of course from our website.

If you are reading this then obviously you are perusing our website, perhaps you are looking for new water to fish or maybe looking for a thriving match scene which has matches on local and away venues or even just starting or regaining your fishing skills.
A lot of enquiries are based on the location of the club waters of which three are very close to the road and afford manageable fishing on selected pegs for some disabled anglers of which we have quite a few on the books who join in on some matches or pass their time of day fishing with other pleasure anglers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most questions asked are the inevitable ‘How Much’.

After this short summary I will inform you of the joining fees.

Remember that the price relates to five waters which are well stocked with a wide range of British Freshwater species.

All the waters are pegged with good angling platforms and are in natural surroundings abundant in wild flowers and wildlife.

We have a quarterly magazine and our website to keep you up to date with the clubs activities including match results.

We have a long match calendar with speciality matches of which all are eligible to fish by the members
( until fully booked that is, please book early).

Our own range of quality fishing clothing with the club badge embroidered on plus you name if required is available.

Our club is also sponsored by Noah’s Ark tackle shop of Poulton.
Producing your membership card you will obtain 10% minimum off your fishing needs excluding bait.
BUT ! Most important of all we are a friendly club which welcomes careful anglers of all abilities the only thing that we ask is that you read the rule book and abide by the rules look after your club water and the fish within, remember we are no ordinary fishing club our members are proud to be associated with BLACKPOOL TRANSPORT ANGLING CLUB.
