All trophy matches will be fished over three sections, each section winner will be awarded six points going down to one point for the others in each section. Trophies that are fished for over a series of four matches will be decided over the best three results. In the event of a tie it will go to the best weight over the best three matches. All points count towards the overall point’s trophy. |

Any number of rods may be set up. However, only one rod incorporating one Hook must be in the water at any one time. |

The water may be broken before the start of the match, but only for the setting of rod rests, Keepnets and plumbing the depth. |

Bloodworm allowed in winter matches. |

All members are allowed assistance to land large fish. |

All Keepnets used must be Carp Friendly and a minimum of three meters long.

Only ½ Kilo of dry groundbait allowed in matches, non at any other time.

All fish over 4oz are to be landed with the aid of a landing net. All fish to be returned to the water unharmed, unless otherwise stated by the match steward. |

Members wishing to leave their pegs must first of all remove their terminal tackle from the water. |

When the match has finished each member must stay at his allotted peg for the weigh –in, when the match steward is satisfied that the peg is perfectly clear of litter, his weight will be recorded. |

If only one member is pegged on a pond his weight must be witnessed. |

Members must stop fishing at the finishing signal. Should they still be playing a fish hooked before the signal was given , they will be permitted fifteen minutes after time has been called to land the fish. |

On pond matches members are allowed to cast/fish as far as the centre of the pond and no further. An angler may fish to but not beyond an empty peg next to them if the peg is occupied they may fish only half way to it. |

Any complaints must be reported to the match steward immediately before or after the match. Complaints made any later will not be listened to. If you arrive at your peg and consider it to be unfishable, you must not reposition your peg without the permission of the match steward or committee member. Unsuitable or dangerous pegs due to the nature of the bank or low overhead power lines, must be reported, and you are entitled to re-draw provided there are pegs left. Once in your peg you must observe its’ boundaries. You are allowed to fish within one yard either side of the actual peg post or ticket. Tackle limits are as follows ; FLOWING WATER – from one yard upstream to within one yard upstream of the lower peg. STILLWATERS – you can fish up to halfway between your peg and the pegs either side of you, if the next peg is empty you may fish up to but not beyond that peg. |

The match secretary has the right to organize the match as required on the day, his ruling will be final. |
